Bio

Suzaku is not a nice person by any means. He has a cold nature, and a manipulative personality. People are useful as long as he can find a way to amuse himself at their expense. Despite his angelic appearance and melodic voice, Suzaku has a known cruel streak, and a love for causing other’s pain. To see others in pain; it fascinates him. How people react under pressure, how they act when things are not in their favor and they have to scrabble to survive. The very idea of watching someone with dark hair suffer at his hands (or the hands of others) appeals to him more than almost anything else.

Despite his face and form, Suzaku can fight, and while his build is rather slim, he’s got the muscles hidden under that flesh to protect himself. He just prefers to let others do the dirty work for him. That’s a grunt’s job, after all. Not to say that Suzaku won’t fight if need be, or even if he –wants– to. He just prefers not to dirty himself to get what he wants. He would hate to be called a thug...even if that is precisely what he is. The very act of seeing others in pain amuses him. He’d probably kick a kitten.

Everything Suzaku has ever wanted has been handed to him on a silver platter. Few people in his family if any were dark hairs, and from birth he was treated like a prince. It gave him a complex and ego beyond most blondies. His hair, his name, he was a prince, and it was his place as the superior of the species to punish those who were beneath him that got in his way. Dark hairs were there for amusement, fodder. Pets are animals to be used, abused, and then discarded.

Suzaku grew up attending private schools; nothing but the best for the son of the great Iwao. The little "princeling" took to the training it provided him, and at the same time began to cultivate a great love for beautiful music. Singing, piano, and especially...the wind instruments. When in leisure time, Suzaku himself likes to indulge in the flute. He can even sing...but he doesn’t. It’s not an important thing, not a tool he can use to manipulate others.

History

Suzaku was born into wealth and privilege. His father was a wealthy businessman of the Upper Class, and his mother was a stay-at-home housewife of good breeding and beautiful golden hair, ever the dutiful mother and marital partner to her husband. She doted on Suzaku, but his father preferred a sterner upbringing.

Out of the two of them, Suzaku’s father was always emotionally distant with the boy, expecting that when his son grew up he would become a business major and take over his father’s work after him, as was proper for a son of his. Suzaku had been the only son born, his birth difficult, leaving his mother unable to have another child. His father had his heir however, and cared little else for having more, and that was fine with his mother as well. And while she doted on Suzaku and stood at Suzaku's father's side, their marriage was not a love match, but one of business ties. As Suzaku's mother began to grow ill, to a point where even science could not cure her, he watched as his father strayed more and more often. Mistresses, pets, with little regard for Suzaku's mother's feelings.

When his mother finally died, the little “princeling” was under his father’s full control and all coddling stopped the day after she was gone. The mourning period for Suzaku would be considered over then. His father never remarried, though he had his dalliances, his mistresses, and that was fine for him.

Suzaku is still young, but he is set in his ways. Dark haired people, to him are and will remain inferior and rarely useful outside of the typical uses.
